Overview
Visit the church history sites in the midwestern states beginning in Winter Quarters and ending Nauvoo!
Itinerary
August 28
Fly to Omaha, Nebraska and stay at hotel near airport. Have first dinner together depending on flight arrivals.
August 29
Start the day doing a temple session at the Winter Quarters temple. Return to hotel to change and then visit winter quarters sites. In the afternoon we drive to Kansas City/Liberty, MO.
August 30
Attend church then do church history sites including Adam-Ondi-Ahman, Far West Temple Site and Haun's Mill. Return to hotel.
August 31
In the morning we visit Liberty Jail and Independence, visiting LDS Visitors Center near the temple site in Jackson County. We then drive to the remarkable Mark Twain Caves in Hannibal Missouri. After we spend some time in the caves and charming town we'll continue on to Nauvoo.
September 1
Today we spend all of our time visiting the wonderful sites of Nauvoo.
September 2
Our last touring day has us in Nauvoo again experiencing all of the sites including a morning session in the Nauvoo Temple.
September 3
Today we will drive to Burlington, Iowa for anyone wishing to fly home from there. We then continue on to Omaha for return flights. Total drive time from Nauvoo to Omaha 5 1/2 hrs.

Meals. For dinners will have advance reservations that will accommodate our entire group and each individual can purchase and pay for food. If you do not wish to come with the group that is okay.
